Writing:

Despite writing and coming up with expansive, dark plot-lines since he was writing in crayon on the pages of a colouring book, only recently has Louis gained the confidence to start sharing his work. Having recently completed a series of workshops with Manchester and Liverpool based writer Stuart Crowther (Most Things Are QuietI thought I might be Jet Li (but it turns out that I'm not) ), Louis has been honing his craft writing everything from High Concept Sci-Fi scripts to Poetry, mind bending plays about hallucinogens and The Great Gatsby (hmm) to Sweeping Historical T.V. dramas. Most recently he has been working on adapting a short story by his favourite author Mikhail Bulgakov for stage in an absurd, minimal, darkly comedic show involving a difficult, homely young doctor thrown into one of the bloodiest and most confusing conflicts in history: The Russian Civil War. Cavalry charges atop of mops, train derailments, a vicious toy dog attack and a beach landing in a blizzard, mixed with cynicism and Bulgakov's trademark wit. The play aims to cynically cast a light on the absurdity of modern politics, war and the fact that a short story written nearly a century ago can so eerily mirror our current attitudes and situations.

The first public reading of his work was recently held at the newly opened Hope Street Theatre in Liverpool.
